Shipping policy

All orders are shipped via USPS, within 3-5 business days (not including weekends) of receiving payment. I always do my best to calculate the correct shipping rate, but in the event of any significant shipping overages, I will issue a refund back to your original payment method.

Custom orders will have longer shipping lead times and will be discussed prior to approval and purchase.  

All shipments will receive a USPS tracking number, which will be emailed to you as soon as your package ships. Occasionally, USPS can have slower than normal shipping times (especially around significant holidays) which may cause a delay in delivery. Please be patient and keep checking the tracking info provided for progress once your package has shipped! 

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Local Pick-Up:

If you are local to Seattle, WA, I offer the option to pick-up your order in the Greenlake nighborhood to avoid paying for shipping! Use the code LOCALPICKUP when checking out. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email in your inbox within 24-48 hours with further information on the pick-up process. If you have questions regarding local pick-up, please send an email to: seattlestitchery@gmail.com.

Shipping Address Errors:

Please double-check your shipping address before ordering! I DO NOT replace, refund or issue credit for any orders shipped to a wrong address provided by the buyer. If your package is marked "Returned to Sender," the buyer is responsible for all shipping & handling charges if you request that I resend the package. Please contact me ASAP if you need to update an address prior to your item being shipped. Once your package has been shipped with USPS, I can no longer change the destination. In the event of a return to sender package, I will reship your order once I have received payment for the re-shipping charges. 

Missing, Mis-Delivered or Undelivered Packages:

If you have already tracked your package and notice that it is significantly delayed in shipping, please contact me ASAP so I can contact USPS to help you find it! It takes 3-5 business days to hear back from USPS.

I DO NOT issue refunds, credits or replacements for packages that are lost in transit, mis-delivered or marked "Delivered" to the address on your order, but not received. Occasionally USPS marks packages as “Delivered” prematurely - they usually show up within 24 hours. If this is not the case, please contact your local Post Office that handles your mail to request verification that your package was delivered to the correct address. You can also request GPS coodinates at time of delivery. Once a package is in “Delivered” status I have no further information available to me. If mail theft is suspected, please notify the Postmaster General and file a theft report with your local police department.

Damaged Items:

I DO NOT refund, replace or issue credit for items that are damaged BY YOU as you open your package. I do not use excess or frivolous packaging, so please use extra care when opening. If possible, do not use scissors or other sharp objects that may damage package contents.

If your items are damaged IN TRANSIT, please contact me ASAP at seattlestitchery@gmail.com. I require photographic evidence of both the package AND the contents before I can formulate a plan for next steps.
